Public Works is a branch under the umbrella of the Community Infrastructure department for LRRCN, that helps maintain operations and maintenance for the three communities of Fox Lake, John D’or and Garden River. Public Works aims to meet the needs of these communities. Public Works provides the following services to all LRRCN communities:

  • Maintenance and upkeep of all Nation infrastructure
  • Water treatment plant operations/maintenance
  • Water delivery for residences not connected to main line
  • Waste/garbage disposal
  • Heat, plumbing and electrical checks
  • Roads, bridges, and airstrips
  • Maintenance of heavy equipment
